Trend Watch: Headscarf Craze

Hugely popular in the 1950′s, the scarf head wrap is coming back full force this spring season. Designers like Marc Jacobs and Nichols K sent their models down the runway with fabulous headscarves – the perfect go to accessory when you need to complete an outfit as you’re running out the door. The best part? You’ll never have a bad hair day when you can whip up a quick up do and put on a headscarf. My personal favorite way of wearing a headscarf is tying a double knot at the top of my head, right in the middle. You can also wear it similar to a turban, which looks super chic with long, loose waves. For a 70′s hippie look, you can cover your entire head of hair and tie a knot below your hairline, at your neck. Whichever way you choose, headscarves are a fabulously easy way to add a little personality into your outfit!

Check out Aspinal of London has some beautiful silk headscarves for £45-65! Nordstrom also has large variety, ranging from $45-550. And as always, don’t forget to check out Polyvore’s selection!
