Looking for a good fashion blogger that matches exactly the style I love was always a challenge for me. Until I was introduced to Wendy’s Lookbook. Packed full of pictures of her everyday outfits with descriptions of each piece, you immediately get a sense that Wendy draws inspiration from everything she sees.
I envy her fashion sense and clothing greatly – she seems to have everything! Her style is always unpredictable, ranging from boyish tones, animal print, chunky sweaters, a wide array of colored pants, to feminine and flirty dresses. She also mixes it up with vintage pieces, handmade bags, and designer items from YSL and Christian Louboutin. Of course, most of her outfits are complete with a scarf (check out our older post about her video on 25 ways to wear a scarf!) Whatever she’s wearing, she always looks put together and polished.
Through her blog, we not only get a sense of her style, but of her personality as well. Wendy is an amazing fashion icon I’ve been obsessed with following because she isn’t afraid to try new things. She plays with patterns, particularly animal print, which I also love. In one of my favorite looks, she takes classics – black Chanel, and pairs it with leather shorts from Forever 21 and Jeffrey Campbells. I love that she takes items from different price ranges and find a way to pull them all together.
One of my favorite things about Wendy’s style is her ability to mix the delicate with the boyfriend look. In her casual holiday outfit, she pairs a sequin skirt with YSL mary jane’s and a casual denim-like shirt. She pulls it off flawlessly – I often have a difficult time blending the two.
Not only does she share her clothing and shoes secrets with her viewers, she’s also created several videos of tips (such as the scarf video) and wardrobe essentials. Her style isn’t the only thing we love! One of my favorite videos is a tutorial on how she creates her signature hairstyle, which you can view here.
Only one warning – be prepared to be sucked into Wendy’s world! I haven’t been able to stop looking at her page!
